About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, Caregivers provide hands-on support to residents and help promote their quality of life. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, following residents’ Individualized Service Plans, promoting safety and independence, and building meaningful relationships. Caregivers may support residents in Memory Care by creating enriching experiences for people with memory loss. Sunrise offers paid training and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have an HHA, PCA, or CNA license.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
