About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver to help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. The role involves providing compassionate care and companionship, supporting clients with daily personal-care needs, and helping with meals, household tasks, errands, and transportation.
Requirements
- Be compassionate and dependable.
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.
- Be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Be comfortable using a smartphone for clocking in and out and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with seniors or adults with disabilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Shop for groceries and run errands.
- Transport clients to appointments.
