Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant
About The Position
Attentive Angels Home Care is hiring full- and part-time Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home care to clients in Chapin, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. The company describes itself as client-driven, with a mission to support aging adults in living life to the fullest, serve communities, and support its care team in purpose-driven work. The role provides personal care and day-to-day assistance according to each client’s individualized care plan. Caregivers help with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping, and report changes in clients’ conditions or behavior to a supervisor. The position offers flexible scheduling, with days, nights, and weekend shifts available.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience is preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must have a physical exam and satisfactory TB test on file.
- Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Help clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying, and changing linens.
- Follow each client’s individualized care plan.
- Notify a supervisor of changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
