About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. The role provides personalized, home-based support to seniors so they can live safely and happily at home. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors so they can live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
• Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
