About The Position

Comfort Keepers provides one-on-one, in-home support that helps older adults remain safe, independent, and connected. Our caregivers bring comfort, stability, and meaningful companionship to every visit. This position involves assisting a client in Waynesboro with high-acuity needs, including safe transfers using a Hoyer lift and comprehensive daily care. The role requires a consistent, steady caregiver presence.

Requirements

• Valid PA driver's license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• Must live in Pennsylvania
• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to pass background screening
• Confident with equipment
• Comfortable with hands-on care
• Able to maintain safety throughout all mobility and personal-care routines

Responsibilities

• Perform bed baths
• Provide full hygiene support
• Assist with dressing
• Prepare meals
• Turn and reposition the client to prevent pressure sores
• Perform light housekeeping
• Safely operate a Hoyer lift for all transfers
• Provide a consistent, steady caregiver presence for high-acuity needs
