About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring a personal care aide to care for clients in Nassau County. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Nassau office at 285 Post Avenue, 2nd Floor, Westbury, NY 11590.
Requirements
- Completed New York Personal Care Aide training, or a New York HHA certificate
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
Responsibilities
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily routines
- Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
- Keep clients company and help them stay safe at home
- Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your supervisor
