About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a personal care aide to care for clients in Brooklyn. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Brooklyn office at 1820 Avenue M, Suite 405, Brooklyn, NY 11230. The pay rate ranges from $19.65 to $25 per hour, with the starting rate being New York’s home health aide minimum wage and increasing annually with it. This position offers both part-time and full-time schedules.

Requirements

• Completed New York Personal Care Aide training, or a New York HHA certificate
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily routines
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
• Keep clients company and help them stay safe at home
• Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your supervisor
