About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a personal care aide to care for clients in the Bronx, New York. This role involves assisting clients with their daily routines, household tasks, and ensuring their safety and companionship at home. The position requires adherence to client care plans and reporting any changes to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Completed New York Personal Care Aide training, or a New York HHA certificate
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily routines
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
• Keep clients company and help them stay safe at home
• Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your supervisor
