About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a personal care aide to care for clients in Manhattan, New York. This role involves assisting clients with their daily routines, ensuring their safety, and providing companionship. The starting pay rate is New York's home health aide minimum wage and increases annually with it.

Requirements

• Completed New York Personal Care Aide training, or a New York HHA certificate
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily routines
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
• Keep clients company and help them stay safe at home
• Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your supervisor
