About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring a homemaker and companion to care for clients in Nassau County. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Nassau office at 285 Post Avenue, 2nd Floor, Westbury, NY 11590.
Requirements
- A caring attitude and reliability
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
Nice To Haves
- caregiving experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation and activities
- Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and go with clients to appointments
- Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine
