About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a homemaker and companion to care for clients in Manhattan, New York. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it. This role offers both part-time and full-time schedules.

Requirements

• A caring attitude and reliability
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation and activities
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine
