About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a homemaker and companion to care for clients in the Bronx, New York. This role offers part-time and full-time schedules. The starting pay rate is $19.65 to $25 per hour, which is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it.

Requirements

• A caring attitude and reliability
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation and activities
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine
