About The Position

This position provides a consistent customer experience and handles deposit accounts and safety deposit box services, including opening, modifying, and closing accounts. The Personal Banker assists customers with account reconciliation, research requests, check orders, wire transfers, and debit cards while developing customer relationships and identifying referral opportunities. The role also promotes consumer credit products, including real estate transactions, helps customers with loan applications, gathers information required for underwriting, and communicates with customers throughout the credit process. The position is universal and includes full platform, vault custodian, cash-line, and consumer lending responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient computer skills and active engagement with new technology.
Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to derive innovative solutions.
Demonstrate a team attitude toward the bank and coworkers.
Successfully complete in-house training and orientation.
Display a high degree of character and ethics.
Maintain professional dress and demeanor.
May require occasional travel to various locations for job-related business.
Registered NMLS number.
Handle sensitive information of the bank and customers in confidence.
Strong customer focus.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

Three years of prior banking, sales, and/or customer service experience.
Three years of prior consumer lending experience.
Bilingual experience.

Responsibilities
