About The Position

A Personal Banker (PB) maintains and builds customer relationships by creating an exceptional customer experience through knowledge of available products and services. The PB demonstrates Civista Bank’s mission to improve the financial lives of employees and shareholders and make a difference in the communities it serves.

The role focuses on building relationships, assessing customer needs, recommending products, and referring customers to partners to grow the branch and bank. It also includes completing operational tasks, executing customer requests accurately and promptly, maintaining cash levels within established guidelines, communicating consistently, and following regulations and policies. Personal Bankers encourage customers to use everyday banking technology and teach them how to use mobile banking, P2P, and online banking.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under deadlines and frequent interruptions.
• Above-average knowledge of technology and willingness to adapt to new software technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service, sales, and cash handling experience preferred.

• Encourage the use of technology in everyday banking interactions and teach customers how to use mobile banking, P2P, and online banking.
