About The Position

Salus Homecare is hiring Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers for multiple cases in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas, including Glendale, Pasadena, South Pasadena, Arcadia, and San Marino. Shifts are available in the mornings, afternoons, on weekends, and overnight. Part-time shifts are 4–6 hours; full-time shifts are 8–12 hours. Pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour for part-time shifts and $19.00–$20.00 per hour for full-time shifts. Candidates are invited to interview through the provided link and may contact Tiffany directly. Requirements

California Homecare Aide Certification (HCA), including registration as a Personal Attendant and Livescan fingerprints for an FBI background check; the employer can help with this process.
TB test dated within 90 days of the start date.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be physically capable of performing all job functions.
A safe driving record and valid auto insurance are required if driving clients.

Responsibilities

Serve as a companion to clients.
Arrive at clients’ homes on time.
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed.
Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities.
Turn and reposition clients and move them between beds, wheelchairs, and seats.
Adapt flexibly to meet clients’ needs.
Maintain confidentiality of client information according to HIPAA standards.
Notify the office of abnormal findings or conditions.
Represent the company positively.
