About The Position

Salus is seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver for an ongoing case with a female client in Studio City. The featured assignment is a 12-hour shift on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and can start as soon as possible. Requirements

Hold a California Home Care Aide (HCA) certification, which requires registration as a Personal Attendant and Live Scan fingerprints for an FBI background check; Salus can help with this process if the applicant is not currently certified.
Have a TB test completed within 90 days of starting.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have the physical capability to perform all job functions.
Have a safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving clients.

Responsibilities

Serve as a companion to clients.
Arrive at clients’ homes on time.
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed.
Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities.
Turn and reposition clients and move them between beds, wheelchairs, and seats.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in meeting clients’ needs.
Maintain confidentiality of client information according to HIPAA standards.
Notify the office of abnormal findings or conditions.
Represent the company positively at all times.
