This position is classified as safety-sensitive under the U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing regulations and the Oklahoma Standards for Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Act. As a safety-sensitive employee, you are subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is included in the testing panel. Possession of a medical marijuana card does not exempt an employee from testing requirements or disciplinary action for a positive result. The Permit Clerk performs high-volume administrative and customer service work related to issuing permits and licenses. This position processes permit applications, maintains records, assists the public with code and permit information, schedules inspections, and supports daily office operations.
