About The Position

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will provide daily leadership and support to distribution associates with varying levels of responsibility and job functions. You will communicate job expectations clearly, ensure proper training, and maintain high levels of accountability and follow-through. The role is responsible for safety, quality, departmental efficiency, customer service, scheduling, sanitation, payroll and overtime, daily start-up meetings, and other distribution activities within the department. The position works in a perishable warehouse environment at approximately 26°F–60°F. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday with an 8:00 p.m. start, and flexibility is required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Compensation is $70,000–$72,000.

Requirements

Preferred: One year of distribution-related experience.
Preferred: Supervisory experience with mid- to large-sized teams of 15 or more hourly associates.
Preferred: Knowledge of warehouse management systems and related tools, such as VoCollect, Dayforce/Ceridian, WIMS, email, and voicemail.
Preferred: English proficiency, written and verbal, to communicate effectively with associates and leadership.
Ability to work various shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand or walk at least 10 hours daily, work in varying temperature-controlled environments, and operate required material-handling equipment, including getting on and off equipment throughout the shift.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive feedback and communicate expectations and directions clearly.
Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills, with inclusive decision-making.
Results-driven approach to implementing KPIs and metrics, willingness to participate in continuous-improvement projects, and ability to manage multiple deadline-based projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee and drive day-to-day team performance through leadership and interaction with associates.
Drive continual improvement in safety-related responsibilities throughout warehouse operations.
Coach associates, provide daily performance feedback, and propose solutions.
Define and communicate daily objectives, long-term strategies, and procedural changes to the team.
Work effectively with peers on people development and building cross-functional teams.
Work with suppliers, 3PL operations, transportation, and internal customers to identify solutions that support the business and company initiatives.
Use metrics to analyze performance results.
Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.
Maintain and drive safety policies and accountability for safe practices throughout the shift.
Maintain high standards for product handling and quality.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
