About The Position

Melissa Memorial Hospital is seeking an OR Registered Nurse (Perioperative RN) to provide safe, effective, and efficient care to patients before, during, and after surgery. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, knowledge of surgical procedures, and a strong commitment to patient safety. The successful candidate will demonstrate the hospital’s values by providing quality, compassionate care and outstanding service. This position remains open until filled, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Complete the AORN PeriOp 101 course within one year of the start date.
• Demonstrate efficiency, attention to detail, and knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety.
• Possess manual dexterity and physical agility to operate equipment and perform procedures.
• Use safe body mechanics to ensure patient and caregiver safety.
• Demonstrate the ability to work successfully in a team environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and treat customers with courtesy, compassion, and respect.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability is preferred but not essential.
