About The Position

Chattanooga Pain Surgery Center is seeking a PRN Perioperative RN to provide care for patients undergoing pain-relieving surgical procedures. The nurse will work with the surgical team to help ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the perioperative process. The role may involve cross-training in preoperative, postoperative, and intraoperative care. No call, weekends, or holidays are required.

Chattanooga Pain Surgery Center is a physician-owned, Joint Commission-accredited facility in Hixson, Tennessee, with one operating room and two treatment rooms. It provides specialized pain-management procedures using advanced technology. The center is part of USPI, which partners with physicians and healthcare systems to provide ambulatory surgical services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS if required by the center.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred.
• OR experience is mentioned as relevant experience.
