About The Position
Melissa Memorial Hospital is seeking an OR Registered Nurse (Perioperative RN) to provide safe, effective, and efficient patient care before, during, and after surgery. The role calls for strong attention to detail, knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety, and the ability to deliver compassionate, quality care and outstanding service. Team members are expected to support the hospital’s mission and values, protect confidential information, work effectively with others, treat customers respectfully, adapt to changing situations, suggest solutions to problems, and report compliance issues as required. The position is full-time, day shift, and located at Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke, Colorado.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Complete the AORN PeriOp 101 course within one year of the start date.
- Manual dexterity and physical agility to operate equipment and perform procedures.
- Use safe body mechanics to promote patient and caregiver safety.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety.
- Efficiency and attention to detail.

- Bilingual ability is preferred but not essential.
