About The Position

Dental Health Associates of Madison (DHA) is hiring a Periodontal Dental Hygienist for its East, Old Sauk, or Fitchburg Clinic in the Periodontal & Implant Specialists department. The position provides specialized periodontal and preventive care while working directly with periodontists. Scheduling is available full-time or part-time, from one to five days per week, with flexible daytime hours and no nights or weekends. DHA is a locally owned, doctor-led practice serving the Madison community for more than 55 years. Starting pay is $48 per hour, with higher wages based on experience. Eligible employees may receive a $10,000 signing bonus, quarterly bonuses, per-quad scaling bonuses, and per-day shift bonuses for additional coverage. Overtime is available but never required.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin dental hygiene license or eligibility for one; new graduates are welcome.
• Current CPR certification.
• Interest or experience in periodontal treatment and patient education.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide periodontal and preventive dental care, including scaling and root planing.
• Take and process digital X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients about oral hygiene, periodontal disease management, and home care techniques.
• Maintain a sterile and organized treatment environment.
• Accurately document patient care and treatment progress.
