About The Position

The Infosys Financial Services unit supports digital transformation for financial institutions through technologies such as AI, cloud, and data-led innovation. The role is assigned as Technology Consultant 2 and contributes across software development lifecycle activities, including requirements elicitation, application design, coding, testing, user enablement, and production support. The position focuses on performance testing and engineering, capacity management, cloud and container/microservices environments, and analysis of multi-tier infrastructure. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

Requirements

Experience with capacity management, AWS/Azure, and AWS containers/microservices architecture.
Experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
Experience with DNT, Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenShift, and TSCO.
Experience with Agile methodology and Jira.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand multi-tier architecture; capacity infrastructure for midrange Linux, Unix, or Windows servers; network firewalls; and load balancers.
A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation, following guidance.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, make codebase changes, and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support transitions to new software applications.
Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and support similar projects.
Contribute across end-to-end SDLC phases, from requirements gathering through implementation, and work with cross-functional teams on software integration.
