Sr Performance Specialist / Performance Specialist
About The Position
This role may be filled at either the Senior Performance Specialist or Performance Improvement Specialist level and is located at Crane Clean Energy Center in Middletown, Pennsylvania. The position is responsible for site implementation, support, and oversight of performance improvement programs. Programs may include the Corrective Action Process (CAP), Self-Assessment, Benchmarking, Human Performance, Operating Experience, Safety Culture, Nuclear Safety Review Board activities, and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations-related work, including evaluation readiness and scheduling and course scheduling. The role reviews site performance data to identify adverse trends, supports CAP investigations and issue review, manages performance indicators, and coordinates across functions to prepare Management Review Meeting packages. Other assignments may be made under company policy or by management, including emergency response duties or coverage. Candidates must meet applicable access requirements and medical examination or testing requirements associated with the position.
Requirements
- Senior level: bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or a current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license and 5 years of related experience, or an associate's degree and 7 years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 9 years of related experience.
- Senior level: minimum of 2 years of exempt-level experience.
- Specialist level: bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or a current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license and 2 years of related experience, or an associate's degree and 4 years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 6 years of related experience.
- Meet minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing requirements in accordance with position duties.
Nice To Haves
- Senior level: experience in PI/OR programs.
- Senior level: previous SRO license/certification.
- Senior level: Root Cause Qualified.
- Senior level: prior work in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations.
- Specialist level: experience in PI/OR programs.
Responsibilities
- Implement, support, and provide oversight of site performance improvement programs.
- Review site performance data and identify adverse trends using observations, CAP, self-assessments, benchmarking, operating experience, and performance indicator data.
- Support CAP investigations and issue review.
- Manage performance indicators.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to prepare Management Review Meeting packages.
- Perform other job assignments or duties as directed, including emergency response duties or coverage.
