About The Position

The Performance & Reporting Analyst turns operating and maintenance data from IREN’s data center facilities and infrastructure into consistent fleet-wide performance reporting. The role establishes indicators measured consistently at every site, maintains baselines and trends to detect drift, tracks deviations and exceedances through closure, and provides stewardship reporting for site, regional, executive, and Board reviews. The scope covers every campus and asset class, from commissioning baseline through operation and lifecycle decisions. The role is part of the Operational Excellence team within Asset Management & Operational Excellence, works closely with site Operations, the integrated operations center, the asset data team, and reliability engineers, and initially focuses on Texas campuses. The analyst produces fleet performance indicators across the infrastructure asset hierarchy using systems of record such as CMMS, plant historians, BMS/PMS, incident and ticketing platforms, and finance systems. They partner with the Associate Director on the fleet KPI framework and stewardship cadence; establish and maintain statistical baselines; manage deviation and exceedance records; run reporting from live dashboards through daily, weekly, monthly, executive, Board, and annual reporting; and supply analysis for continuous improvement, benchmarking, readiness handovers, audits, lessons learned, and the operational risk register. The role also owns documented indicator definitions with the asset data lead, reconciles and validates data across systems, reports on data quality, automates manual reporting, and maintains definitions under version control. The analyst identifies patterns and repeat exceedances for reliability engineers, who determine engineering limits and interpret asset condition. IREN offers a Total Rewards package that includes base salary, annual performance incentives, equity programs, health and wellness coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off and holidays, flexible work arrangements, and growth and development opportunities. Relocation may be available depending on the successful candidate’s circumstances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, data science, mathematics, or analytics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in performance reporting, operational analytics, or applied data science.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with a reporting or visualization tool such as Power BI or Grafana.
  • Full proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with a maintenance management system such as Fiix, Maximo, SAP PM, or similar.
  • Experience with time-series data from a plant historian or SCADA platform.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance and reliability indicators for electrical and mechanical plant, including switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, pumps, and cooling loops, and of alarm-management metrics.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, baselining and trend modeling, anomaly and deviation detection, and performance benchmarking.
  • Disciplined approach to data integrity, including validating, documenting, and reconciling data.
  • Ability to present clearly to technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment and flexibly across time zones; collaborative approach and strong desire for growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or equivalent applied experience.
  • Experience in data center facilities, utilities, energy, manufacturing, or another asset-intensive industry.
  • Python or R experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce fleet performance indicators—including availability and redundancy margin, MTBF, MTTR, unplanned downtime, PM compliance, corrective completion, backlog, PUE, and WUE—across the infrastructure asset hierarchy using systems of record.
  • Partner with the Associate Director to design and evolve the fleet KPI framework and stewardship cadence, including executive reporting on availability and reliability, maintenance, asset risk, data quality and adoption, electrical, cooling and controls health, lifecycle and spares exposure, incidents, cost drivers, and improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain statistical baselines and trends for each indicator and asset class; identify drift, step changes, seasonality, and outliers; maintain baseline references for automated deviation reporting; and re-baseline after major changes and on a set cycle.
  • Maintain records of deviations and operating-limit exceedances raised through analysis, the integrated operations center, and site teams, and track response and closure against time standards.
  • Run reporting from live dashboards and daily, weekly, and monthly reports through executive and Board packs and annual disclosures, using consistent indicators at site, regional, and executive levels.
  • Provide reliability engineers with patterns, repeat exceedances, and bad actors for investigation; define statistical normal and escalate against it.
  • Own indicator definitions with the asset data lead, documenting each formula’s numerator, denominator, and measurement boundary and applying definitions consistently across sites.
  • Extract, transform, and reconcile data across systems of record; publish data-quality reporting on completeness, timeliness, exclusions, manual overrides, and reconciliation differences; automate manual reporting; and maintain definitions under version control.
  • Provide analysis for continuous improvement, loss elimination, benchmarking, readiness handovers, audits, lessons learned, and the operational risk register.
  • Present findings clearly to site teams, regional leaders, and executives.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance: 100% company-paid coverage for employees and 75% company-paid coverage for dependents.
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance.
  • Voluntary life, critical illness, and accident coverage.
  • Health Savings Accounts when combined with the High-Deductible Health Plan.
