We are looking for an accomplished Performance Reporting Analyst to join our Operations team as part of our financial services business in Montreal. Requirements

A university graduate with degree in accounting or finance
2 years’ of post-graduate work experience in management reporting, preferably in a global, diverse, multi-currency environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy are also critical
Ability to identify, understand, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
Excellent time management and proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines, organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
Advanced Excel skills

Nice To Haves

Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, and VBA Macro will be an asset

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive monthly revenue analysis, including trend identification, variance analysis, and key drivers of performance
Monitor billing and collections activities, providing insights into potential risks or delays
Produce financial performance analysis alongside non-financial KPI reporting, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization
Conduct detailed client portfolio reviews, assessing performance, profitability, and growth opportunities
Deliver accurate and timely management and performance reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as respond to ad hoc reporting requests
Review and analyze Accounts Receivable (AR) aging, identifying overdue balances and risk areas
Monitor and report on unbilled fees and revenue, ensuring timely billing, accurate revenue recognition, and minimizing revenue leakage
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel to enhance data visibility and accessibility
Collaborate closely with local and global finance teams to support month-end close activities
Identify and support opportunities to enhance reporting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen data quality and governance
