We are looking for an accomplished Performance Reporting Analyst to join our Operations team as part of our financial services business in Montreal. Requirements

  • A university graduate with degree in accounting or finance
  • 2 years’ of post-graduate work experience in management reporting, preferably in a global, diverse, multi-currency environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy are also critical
  • Ability to identify, understand, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
  • Excellent time management and proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Advanced Excel skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, and VBA Macro will be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive monthly revenue analysis, including trend identification, variance analysis, and key drivers of performance
  • Monitor billing and collections activities, providing insights into potential risks or delays
  • Produce financial performance analysis alongside non-financial KPI reporting, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization
  • Conduct detailed client portfolio reviews, assessing performance, profitability, and growth opportunities
  • Deliver accurate and timely management and performance reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as respond to ad hoc reporting requests
  • Review and analyze Accounts Receivable (AR) aging, identifying overdue balances and risk areas
  • Monitor and report on unbilled fees and revenue, ensuring timely billing, accurate revenue recognition, and minimizing revenue leakage
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel to enhance data visibility and accessibility
  • Collaborate closely with local and global finance teams to support month-end close activities
  • Identify and support opportunities to enhance reporting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen data quality and governance
