The impact you'll make: Reporting into VP, Growth, our Performance Creative will help drive growth through high-impact, data-informed creative across paid media, landing pages, and lifecycle channels. This role sits at the intersection of creative production and performance marketing—ideal for someone who is hands-on with ad creation, deeply curious about what drives conversion, and energized by rapid testing and iteration. This is a short-term contract initially, with flexibility depending on availability - open to part-time, full-time, or evening-only hours - please outline your availability upon application. You’ll be responsible for producing and optimizing static and video ads, developing performance-led creative concepts, and using data and AI-powered workflows to scale winning ideas. Working closely with the growth team, you’ll help turn insights into action—creating, testing, and iterating creative that moves key metrics like CTR, CPA, and ROAS. All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

Requirements

  • Experience working in fast-paced, test-and-learn environments (e.g., DTC, ecommerce, subscriptions)
  • Proven experience producing and editing static and video ads for paid performance channels (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Strong understanding of performance-driven creative principles, including hooks, pacing, retention, captions, and conversion-focused messaging
  • Experience creating multiple creative variations to support high-volume testing environments
  • Comfortable using performance data and funnel metrics to guide creative decisions
  • Working knowledge of key performance marketing metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, and hold rate
  • Ability to identify patterns in winning and underperforming creative and translate insights into new concepts, hypotheses, and structured tests
  • Ideally, hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate ideation, copywriting, visual generation, and creative iteration
  • Comfortable rapidly prototyping and testing creative variations at scale
  • Curious and proactive about adopting new tools and workflows to improve speed and quality of output
  • Experience collaborating with growth, marketing, or performance teams to align creative output with channel and business goals
  • Ability to contribute to landing pages and email campaigns with a performance lens, ensuring strong message alignment from ad through to conversion
  • Clear communicator who can balance creative intuition with performance rationale
  • Familiarity with UGC-driven creative and asset libraries
  • Comfort working in contract or project-based roles with defined deliverables and timelines

Responsibilities

  • Produce static and video ads using existing footage, UGC, and asset libraries
  • Edit video content optimized for performance (hooks, pacing, captions, retention)
  • Create multiple variations to support high-volume testing
  • Draw on performance data, audience insights, and funnel metrics to guide creative direction and ad development
  • Identify patterns in winning and losing creative; translate findings into new concepts and structured tests (hooks, angles, formats, messaging).
  • Develop a solid understanding of key performance marketing metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, hold rate) and use them to inform creative decisions
  • Collaborate with the growth team to prioritize opportunities and align creative output with channel goals
  • Use AI tools to accelerate output, ideation, copywriting, visual generation, and iteration
  • Rapidly prototype and test creative variations at scale
  • Continuously integrate new AI tools to improve speed and output quality
  • Collaborate on high-converting landing pages aligned with ad messaging; ensure a cohesive user journey from ad through to conversion
  • Collaborate on email campaigns and flows with a performance focus; use engagement and conversion data to help refine messaging, structure, and timing
