About The Position

ACCURE is hiring a US-based Performance Engineer to own relationships with several grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) customers and help them improve the performance and business value of their assets. The role is accountable for customer health and value, and requires understanding customer business cases, including availability, warranty and LTSA claims, augmentation, and revenue. The Performance Engineer interprets findings from ACCURE’s Predictive Battery Analytics Platform and turns them into clear recommendations that inform customers’ operating decisions. The role serves as the main interface between US customers and ACCURE’s European Performance Engineering, analytics, and engineering teams, coordinating across time zones and ensuring customers receive timely, well-founded answers. It also brings field insights to product and engineering teams to help shape the roadmap. The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the US or from an office; West Coast or Central time zones are preferred. The person must be based in the US and have a valid work permit.

  • Ability to manage multiple customer projects, including onboardings, investigations, and deliverables, from start to finish while tracking scope, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of lithium-ion behavior, degradation, and safety in grid storage.
  • Ability to interpret analytics, investigate complex technical problems, explain root causes clearly, and connect them to business outcomes.
  • Experience working with remote or international teams and aligning across time zones.
  • Confident English communication and presentation skills for audiences ranging from operators to executives.
