About The Position

As a Performance Creative Strategist, you are the visual and narrative architect of our performance marketing "pod." You will work as a peer alongside the Paid Social Specialist to bridge the gap between our affiliate content and the end consumer. You are a "master maker" who blends creative intuition, consumer psychology, and AI-powered tools to build ads and landing pages that scale. In this role, you will go beyond basic design; you will act as a growth engine, leveraging the latest in AI technology to rapidly iterate on content. You will own the entire user journey—from the initial "hook" on a Meta feed to the final conversion on our custom-built landing pages—ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for direct-response results.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years in digital creative production, performance design, or content marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and direct-response results.
  • Proficiency in the modern AI creative stack (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT for copy, or AI video tools). You should be comfortable using technology to automate and scale your creative output.
  • Proven ability to build and curate high-converting landing pages. You understand the "architecture of a sale"—where the button goes, how the social proof is laid out, and how to reduce friction.
  • A deep understanding of what drives a user to click and buy. You understand how to frame products in an affiliate context to maximize trust and intent.
  • Hands-on experience with WYSIWYG design/video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or internal CMS builders) and familiarity with AI tools which help to scale production.
  • Familiarity with the affiliate marketing ecosystem and the seasonal cycles of the e-commerce industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deploy ad creative at scale to drastically increase the volume and variety of our ad creative testing.
  • Own the narrative and visual flow of our custom-built landing pages. You aren’t just creating "ads"; you are building the entire "bridge" that leads a user from a social platform to an affiliate partner's sale.
  • Apply deep knowledge of online shopping trends and consumer behavior to create content that sells. You will prepare specific creative strategies for major retail events (Prime Day, BFCM, etc.) within the affiliate space.
  • Develop and present campaign concepts that align with both affiliate goals and consumer purchase intent. You will lead the "creative audit" process to identify what competitors are doing and how we can outperform them.
  • Use data from the Specialist to "kill" underperforming creative and double down on winners. You will constantly test new headlines, page layouts, and AI-generated hooks to improve CVR and CTR.
  • Participate in a daily data-sharing session with your Specialist peer, merging their technical tracking insights with your creative "winning" formats to build a robust testing roadmap.
