About The Position

Mass Culture is hiring a Performance Creative Strategist to connect brand strategy with performance marketing. The strategist analyzes creative results and audience needs, identifies opportunities and fatigue, and determines what to test next. They develop hypotheses, testing roadmaps, and clear creative briefs, then evaluate results and use the learnings to guide future briefs. The role sets creative direction and defines success; Brains’ creative team handles concepting and production. The strategist does not design or edit ads. The strategist serves as a trusted bridge between media and creative teams, sharing performance insights with media and giving creative teams the audience, strategic, and platform context needed to make effective work. They maintain an angle library so learnings can travel across accounts, and present findings in client QBRs and working sessions alongside account and media leads. The role is remote, contract, and ongoing, starting at 20 to 30 hours per week across a focused set of accounts. The rate is agreed up front, with potential to grow into a full-time role if the arrangement works for both sides.
