About The Position

Rho Nutrition is hiring a Creative Strategist to turn customer insights, product science, and performance data into advertising that drives growth. The role owns the creative process for a group of products, from finding angles and writing briefs through reviewing finished ads and deciding what to test next. The work focuses on liquid supplements for everyday health and wellness, combining product education, customer experiences, and expert voices. The Creative Strategist collaborates with creative leadership, media buyers, designers, and editors, with paid social and Meta as the primary focus. The role calls for strong direct-response writing, creative judgment, production direction, and ownership of multiple projects. The strategist uses approved research and customer feedback to develop compelling concepts while ensuring that product claims are appropriately reviewed. They evaluate creative performance with the media team and turn results into recommendations for iteration, retirement, or further exploration. Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate is expected to independently run the creative cycle for assigned products, deliver clear briefs on time, bring concepts and iterations into testing consistently, and recommend next steps after each round. Over time, the work should help identify ads that efficiently acquire customers and continue performing as spend increases.

Requirements

  • Strong direct-response writing skills, including the ability to communicate a benefit in a headline and hold attention through a video.
  • A portfolio showing paid social work the candidate personally helped create.
  • Typically 3 or more years of experience in creative strategy, performance copywriting, or a similar role at a direct-to-consumer brand or agency.
  • Understanding of why customers buy, ability to explain why an ad works, and ability to turn performance data into creative decisions.
  • Ability to brief designers or editors, identify weaknesses in concepts, and provide useful feedback on copy and visual execution.
  • Ability to manage several projects, bring recommendations, and follow through.
  • Ability to simplify research without overstating what the evidence supports.
  • Practical AI fluency for accelerating research, exploring hooks, and developing rough concepts, while ensuring final writing is distinctive and facts and claims are checked.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in health, wellness, beauty, or supplements.

Responsibilities

  • Build a weekly creative plan around assigned products, launches, and performance findings; recommend promising customer problems, messages, offers, and formats to test.
  • Research customer reviews, Reddit threads, ad comments, competitor creative, and approved research to identify frustrations, objections, and customer language for advertising angles.
  • Write hooks, static headlines, ad copy, and video scripts for formats such as UGC, expert videos, tweet-style statics, testimonials, and product comparisons.
  • Create actionable briefs with copy, visual references, shot direction, required assets, and a clear testing rationale; resolve questions and keep production moving.
  • Develop interview questions, talking points, and shot lists for expert and creator shoots; identify strong quotes in existing footage and develop multiple concepts from recordings.
  • Review ad cuts and designs for opening hooks, pacing, product visibility, readability, and calls to action; provide specific feedback and route product claims through the appropriate review.
  • Review CPA and ROAS alongside hook and hold rates with the media team, accounting for spend and test duration; recommend what to iterate, retire, or explore next.
  • Maintain briefs, asset names, approvals, and records of tests and learnings; keep priorities and deadlines visible so the team can move quickly and reuse what works.
