About The Position

The Performance Analyst is an entry-level role intended for candidates with approximately 0–2 years of experience after earning a bachelor’s degree. The role collects and synthesizes data to calculate client investment performance, risk statistics, and portfolio exposure over time. Performance Analysts support Consultants and Investment Analysts in servicing institutional clients, including pension funds and endowments, and develop familiarity with the investment consulting process, including portfolio asset allocation and investment manager selection and monitoring.

Requirements

• Approximately 0–2 years of experience after earning a bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with accounting, financial, and/or statistical concepts.
• Facility with spreadsheet programs and word processing software.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Math, or Finance is preferred.
• Enrollment in or pursuit of the CIPM, CFA, or CAIA programs is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Independently gather, prioritize, and verify financial data related to client accounts, investment managers, and investment strategies.
• Monitor market trends and monthly performance results across all asset classes.
• Maintain and regularly update databases of investment information.
• Calculate and verify client-related investment data and statistics.
• Produce client-ready data for quarterly and monthly reviews, checking data for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Collaborate on the development of internal indices and analytical tools.
• Work with Investment Analysts and Consultants on special projects as needed.
• Fulfill other duties deemed vital by management.
