About The Position
The Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging provides direct patient care using specialized clinical nursing knowledge and skills for the Medical Imaging setting. The nurse helps ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families in accordance with legal, organizational, and professional standards. The role requires a minimum of eight shifts per month and four shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, including two shifts related to summer holidays and two related to winter holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- At least 3 years of RN experience.
- Current and valid RN license.
- Competency in using equipment and related supplies for the selected patient population.
- Competency in CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
- CRT experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- ACLS certification.
- Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging.
- Experience in a medical imaging setting or center.
- Windows computer experience.
- RIS experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
