About The Position

The Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) is seeking a PeopleSoft Financials Techno-functional professional to join the Requirements and Configuration Management (RACM) team. This role focuses on the Accounts Receivable and Billing modules within the PeopleSoft Financials environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills for debugging and root cause analysis of production support issues, as well as the ability to develop functional design documentation for new customizations. This position requires analyzing and interpreting new PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) features for compatibility with existing customizations and configurations, and working with integrations involving external systems. The role involves configuring and supporting key PeopleSoft Financials modules, specifically Billing and Accounts Receivable.

Requirements

• Completion of undergraduate core coursework in business administration, public administration, information systems, engineering or comparable field.
• 3 years experience in business process transformation, organizational design, strategic human capital management &/or business process reengineering.
• 12 months experience in software design &/or development commensurate with position to be filled.
• Information Technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug and provide root cause analysis of production support issues.
• Resolve complex issues by performing root cause analysis and delivering clear, step-by-step solutions.
• Develop functional design documentation for new customizations, including solution design, business purpose, functional requirements, test script creation, and execution of testing activities.
• Analyze and interpret new PUM features to assess compatibility with existing customizations and configurations within the State of Ohio’s PeopleSoft Financials environment.
• Work with integrations involving external systems, including financial institutions and banking partners.
• Configure and support key PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Billing and Accounts Receivable.
