About the position
The People Solutions Coordinator at Braze plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall employee experience and optimizing processes to align with business needs. They will provide valuable support across various People functions, ensuring compliance and integrity in processes, and serving as a key point of contact for employee operational questions. This role will report to the Senior Manager, People Solutions, and collaborate closely with other functions such as Talent Acquisition, People Relations, and Learning & Development. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with prior experience in an HR role and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and local laws to ensure compliance
- Coordinate employee criminal background checks and Right to Work checks
- Assist with employee immigration cases in the EMEA region
- Review and ensure the integrity of all new hire data
- Support the onboarding process of new hires
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate teams and resources
- Collaborate with team members to optimize and implement process improvements
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and day-to-day tasks
- Maintain procedure documentation on team processes
- Contribute to projects that increase engagement, motivation, development, and retention
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Provide excellent service orientation to internal and/or external customers
- Demonstrate professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
- Multitask effectively
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Work cross-functionally with different personalities
- Be flexible and creative in improving processes as the business scales
- Manage own workload and priorities
- Learn and grow with the People team
- Prior experience with an HRIS, such as Workday (a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication in French and/or German (a plus)
Requirements
- 1-2 years of prior experience in an HR role
- Extremely strong and consistent attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of work
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong service orientation to internal and/or external customers
- Receptive to feedback
- Professional maturity and discretion when dealing with sensitive data
- Robust multitasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
