About The Position

The People Operations Generalist helps design, develop, and deliver People programs, processes, and systems that support Box’s growth. The role provides efficient service and helps shape the employee experience across the employee lifecycle, working closely with People Partners and business functions. It also supports operational compliance, employee changes, and projects that help People Operations scale.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• Demonstrated process design and ownership, including offering constructive ideas to improve team success.
• Discretion, integrity, and respect when handling sensitive issues or information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work while handling high volumes of data and information.
• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new situations and business problems.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, including Workday, ServiceDesk, and Box for HR.
• Growth mindset and ability to identify ways to use AI to improve work and decision-making.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with HRIS systems and transactions; Workday experience is a plus.
• B.S. or B.A. degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own core People Operations program design and support operational programs, including compliance, onboarding, contingent worker management, and separations.
• Partner with People Partners (HRBPs) to support Box business functions and serve as a consultant on HR matters.
• Recommend functional and tactical improvements to leaders based on best practices and Box processes.
• Execute internal mobility and employee changes using the People ticketing system, HRIS, and letter-generation processes.
• Support key People Team controls and assist with audit and compliance initiatives.
• Contribute to ad hoc People Operations projects that support business growth and scale.
