About The Position

Roivant Sciences is looking for a People Operations Associate to join our People team. You'll sit at the intersection of people, systems, process, and emerging technology—building the operational backbone that enables high-performing teams. The work is varied, fast-paced, and highly collaborative, and you'll have real ownership from day one.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in an HR Generalist or People Operations role
  • Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and proven project management skills
  • Demonstrated learning agility and sound judgment, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • A bias toward action—building and improving repeatable processes without waiting to be asked
  • Experience with HRIS or HR tech platforms (e.g., HiBob, ADP, Greenhouse, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an interest in learning new technologies
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy across People Operations processes
  • Solid understanding of benefits administration, including open enrollment and leave management
  • Clear, proactive communicator who closes the loop and doesn't let things fall through the cracks
  • Rolls up their sleeves on HR and administrative tasks as they arise—no task too small attitude
  • Works with a service-oriented approach to working with employees at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize our HRIS—ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and continuously improving process efficiency
  • Manage and execute core employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee data updates
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and leave plans
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and manage open enrollment
  • Lead and continuously improve new hire orientation
  • Partner with Payroll, Legal, IT, and Finance to ensure smooth coordination across people-related processes and deadlines
  • Support compliance and documentation needs—including audits, reporting, and maintenance of employee records
  • Explore and implement AI tools to further streamline HR operations, including: Automating and streamlining onboarding and employee lifecycle workflows, HRIS configuration, data quality, and self-service experiences, Audit preparation, documentation, and reporting accuracy
  • Contribute to cross-functional people team initiatives to enhance the employee experience at Roivant
  • Draft and distribute HR communications including policy updates, open enrollment announcements, onboarding guides, and company-wide HR notices
  • Ensure communications are clear, timely, on-brand, and accessible to all employees
  • Support ad hoc People Operations projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
