We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused People Advisor to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this on-site role, you will provide administrative and operational support across a variety of people-related processes, serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. You will play an important role in maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring data accuracy, and helping deliver a positive employee experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to two years of Human Resources, People Operations, or related administrative experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to quickly learn HRIS and other business systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish bilingual skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee information within HRIS and related systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support new hire onboarding activities, including documentation and system setup.
  • Prepare offer letters and communicate onboarding information to candidates.
  • Process employee changes, including promotions, pay increases, transfers, and terminations.
  • Coordinate background checks and drug screening processes and communicate clearance status to management.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding People-related inquiries.
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure proper record retention and document management.
  • Compile data and prepare reports from personnel records as needed.
  • Support payroll and compliance processes through accurate employee data management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
