People Operations Manager
About The Position
As our People Operations Manager at Assembly Software, you'll own the operational core of how Assembly hires, pays and supports its people. This is a growth-track role. We're hiring the person we expect to become our Director of Employee Operations and who will grow with our organization. Our foundation is strong and our direction is clear. What we need now is an operator who keeps the core running cleanly while building the systems that let us grow without adding headcount to run them. The processes you build in your first year will shape how every future Assembly employee is hired, paid and supported.
Requirements
- Four to seven or more years in HR or People Operations
- Hands-on experience running payroll and benefits
- Owning full-cycle recruiting, not just scheduling
- Sound judgment on employee relations and know what to handle yourself and what to raise
- Ability to spot broken processes and fix them
- Experience using AI as a working tool
- Desire for a bigger role while understanding that the fundamentals are how you earn it
Responsibilities
- Run payroll, benefits and HR operations
- Own onboarding and offboarding end to end
- Lead recruiting for every role below Director level, with recruiter support that can flex up and down with demand
- Handle policy questions, everyday concerns and performance documentation in partnership with the EVP, Human Resources
- Map people processes, fix what slows them down, and lead the rollout of the tools that support them
