About The Position

The People & Culture Business Partnering & Change team is seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner for a temporary opportunity. In this role, you will establish and maintain strategic partnerships with operational managers to ensure the successful implementation of their departmental people-related plans. A thorough understanding of client business objectives is essential for executing people-centric programs that align with the corporate culture initiatives and overall people strategy. Reporting to the Manager People & Culture Business Partnering & Change, you will be responsible for identifying trends, opportunities, and risks that may impact your assigned business group. You are expected to approach issues with a positive, collaborative, and informed perspective, focusing on identifying root causes and implementing effective, sustainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Manager, People & Culture Business Partnering & Change to understand people-related strategies for your client group, and work with clients and the broader People, Culture & Sustainability team to ensure integrated approaches are used for strategy and tactical plan implementation across all leadership levels within the client group. A key aspect of this role involves using data and insights to assess the impact of People & Culture programs and initiatives, and making necessary course corrections.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary credentials in a related field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Criminology or Sociology.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources in an advisory, business partner, or senior operational role.
  • Knowledge and experience with full HR spectrum and best practices: employee engagement, talent management, career development, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, remuneration and rewards, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations.
  • Experience supporting diverse workforce, including analytical and data-driven professionals, with resiliency and diplomacy in complex situations.
  • Focal point to build and maintain strong partnerships and influence business decisions with all levels of leaders.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and diagnose high impactful HR data and provide effective solutions or recommendations.
  • Experience with program development and implementation including project and change methodologies.
  • Polished confidence with presentation and facilitation, ability to address differences with consultative approach.
  • Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills.

  • Work closely with your clients and the broader People, Culture & Sustainability team, to ensure integrated approaches are used to ensure strategies and tactical plans are implemented across the entire client group at all levels of leadership.
  • Use data and insights to assess the impact of our People & Culture programs and initiatives, and course correct where necessary.
