Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, and WorkSafeBC policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Collaborative, personable and highly accountable
  • Comfortable stepping into complex and sensitive workplace situations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders across multiple industries
  • Advise leaders on day-to-day HR issues and employment legislation
  • Support client recruitment processes from job posting to interviews and reference checks
  • Develop and review HR policies, procedures and employee manuals
  • Collaborate with the Pivot team on projects and initiatives that support our growing client base
  • Provide support across the entire employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, policy development, recruitment, compensation, and strategic HR initiatives
  • Deliver practical and impactful HR solutions tailored to each client's needs
