Pediatric School Nurse, RN
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide consistent, one-to-one nursing care for a school-aged pediatric client in Rockland County. The role offers a predictable daytime schedule and the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one client. Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; part-time or full-time arrangements are available based on scheduled hours. The position pays up to $45 per hour, depending on the assigned client and shift. Per-diem availability is also mentioned, with a minimum of four shifts per month. BAYADA provides paid, personalized training, including SIM labs, 24/7 clinical support, mentorship, and electronic charting through Statewise. The company describes flexible scheduling, short commutes to local clients, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth and development. There is no weekend requirement.
Requirements
- Current, valid nursing license in the United States.
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
- At least one year of experience working as a nurse (LPN or RN).
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one nursing care to a school-aged pediatric client.
- Deliver patient care in accordance with the assigned client's needs and skill level.
- Use the Statewise electronic charting system to document care.
