Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN/BSN or higher).
Previous experience in a pediatric-related healthcare setting.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Washington State or hold a multistate RN license with eligibility to practice in Washington State under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association with hands-on Training Skills Certificate for Healthcare Providers.
Current PALS Certification.
Current WA State Food Handler’s Certification.
Current WA State Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric healthcare nursing experience.
Availability to work weekdays, a few weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Operate within the Scope of Practice as defined by the State and ANA Scope and Standards for Pediatric Nursing Practice.
Adhere strictly to Nursing Evolutions policies, procedures, and care guidelines.
Deliver safe, family-centered patient care.
Utilize the Nursing Care Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care collaboratively with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants and others as per State Administrative Code.
Integrate and embody initiatives such as Values Based Behavior and Healthy Work Environment into daily work.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
