About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region. This is an established and growing department with collaborative, supportive colleagues. There is a strong commitment to medical education, with an active role in training orthopedic residents and medical students at UMass Chan Medical School. Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedics
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedics
- MD or DO degree
- Qualify for Massachusetts medical license
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric orthopedic care across Central Massachusetts, treating patients from birth through adolescence.
- Manage the full spectrum of orthopedic conditions, including fractures, scoliosis, congenital and genetic disorders, sports-related injuries, cerebral palsy, and complex hip and foot conditions.
- Participate in the training of orthopedic residents and medical students at UMass Chan Medical School.
- Engage in research and academic activities.
- Utilize modern technology platforms, including Epic EMR, to support efficient workflows.
- Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous program improvement.
