About The Position

Abbott is seeking a Pediatric Office Sales Specialist for its Pediatric Nutrition division. The role develops and supports territory sales goals for Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte by calling on pediatric, OB/GYN, and family practices. The specialist shares product information in a selling environment, including knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines, and supports new product launches. The position is based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and covers Charlotte, Columbia, Lexington, Florence, and Sumter. Local candidates only; relocation is not offered. A company car is provided, including insurance, gas, and maintenance. The position is remote and requires travel 5% of the time. The base pay range is $61,300–$122,700, subject to variation in specific locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of sales experience in a medical office setting is identified as part of the ideal candidate profile.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Local candidates only; the ideal candidate will reside in Charlotte, NC, or the surrounding southern suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support territory sales goals in physician office service areas for Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte.
• Call on pediatric, OB/GYN, and family practices.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines and communicate that information in a selling environment.
• Support new product launches.
• Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and dietitians.
• Perform administrative work and manage budgets.
• Work independently with initiative and autonomy toward short- and long-term goals.
• Assist with stocking and moving pediatric products.
