Pediatric Office Sales Specialist - Charolotte, NC
About The Position
Abbott’s nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages. The Pediatric Office Sales Specialist works in the Pediatric Nutrition division, developing and supporting territory sales goals for Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte. The role calls on pediatric, OB-GYN, and family practices and shares product information in a selling environment. The assigned territory includes Charlotte, Columbia, Lexington, Florence, and Sumter. The ideal candidate will live in Charlotte or the surrounding southern suburbs. The position is remote, does not offer relocation, and is limited to local candidates. A company car is provided, including insurance, gas, and maintenance. Travel is approximately 5% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds to assist with stocking and moving pediatric products.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of sales experience in a medical office setting.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
- A background as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nurse (RN) is strongly valued.
- A proven track record of success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support territory sales goals in each physician’s office service area for Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte.
- Call on pediatric, OB-GYN, and family practices.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines, and deliver information in a selling environment.
- Support new product launches.
- Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and dietitians.
- Perform administrative tasks and manage the budget.
- Work independently with initiative, independence, and autonomy.
- Pursue short- and long-term goals with self-motivation.
