Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
About The Position
Ivy Health is seeking an outpatient pediatric occupational therapy assistant to join its pediatric team at various clinics in Richmond, Virginia. The role provides services to children from birth through age 21, with individualized one-to-one attention and customized plans of care. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can support skills and home exercises in the child’s daily life. The work environment supports multidisciplinary collaboration, mentorship, clinician autonomy, and professional growth. The position offers an hourly compensation range of $25–$38 and is also eligible for a bonus. Actual compensation depends on relevant factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Current or pending licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist within the respective state.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric therapy services to children from birth through age 21.
- Provide individualized one-to-one attention and customized plans of care.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to attend sessions and carry skills and home exercises into the child’s daily life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates to support patient care and outcomes.
