About The Position

Little Steps is seeking a fun, passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide individualized, family-centered, and engaging therapy to children. The role serves a wide pediatric age range and variety of disorders. Services are delivered in person and via telehealth, with travel between natural environments required. The position works within a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice and includes communication with families, caregivers, and doctors. Participation in pediatric group programming is optional.

Requirements

• Florida Department of Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
• Experience with the pediatric population.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Fun, passionate, and engaging personality.
• Ability to travel between natural environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, engaging therapy to pediatric clients across a wide age range and range of disorders.
• Maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary practice and participate in team meetings.
• Communicate effectively and work closely with family members, caregivers, and doctors.
• Provide services in person and via telehealth.
• Participate in and assist with the development of pediatric group programming, if desired.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities.
