About The Position

Theracare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in Osceola, Indiana. The role focuses on helping children gain independence and develop the fine motor, sensory motor, and visual motor skills needed to function at the highest possible level. Pediatric outpatient therapy may address developmental skills such as feeding, handwriting, and object manipulation. The therapist will coordinate and work with a multidisciplinary team and family members. A supportive local manager and a cooperative working environment with OT, PT, and ST staff are provided. The position offers an opportunity to positively impact children and their families. Additional hours may be available at a local Skilled Nursing Facility.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current state license or certification.
Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
Experience with feeding and sensory integration therapies.
Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in Pediatric Occupational Therapy.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
Willingness to work 2–3 evenings a week and be available for Saturday mornings as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Prefer a minimum of three to five years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Mentorship is available.
