About The Position

MedCare Pediatric is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized, one-on-one care that helps children reach their full potential. The role involves developing therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs, partnering with families, and collaborating with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams. The work environment provides structured scheduling for individualized care and documentation, with professional growth and mentorship opportunities. The position is full-time, with Monday–Friday availability and scheduling options of four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Compensation may be hourly, salaried, or per visit.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Texas Occupational Therapy License, or ability to obtain one before the anticipated start date.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Experience supervising assistants is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create tailored treatment goals to enhance functional abilities.
Provide occupational therapy services to improve range of motion, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living.
Train and support families in techniques and strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Supervise assistants, if applicable.
